The Aesthetic Medicine editorial boards clinical expertise and diverse range of specialties help ensure the magazine meets the needs of the reader. In this issue, we received guidance from the following members.

DR ALEK NIKOLIC

Dr Nikolic has amassed over 24 years of experience in private practice. Specialising in skin care, skin ingredients, and cosmetic dermatology treatments, he has performed over 20 000 procedures to date. He is also responsible for training practitioners, lecturing, and performing live demonstrations across the globe.

DR ANJANA BHANA

Dr Anjana Bhana brings over 14 years of training and expertise in Aesthetic Medicine to her practice. Graduating with Cum Laude honors from FDP Health Sciences and receiving a Maxillo Facial Research Award in 2004, she regularly lectures and presents at numerous congresses and specialised workshops, both locally and internationally. She also provides independent training.

DR CATHERINE DAVIES

Dr Catherine Davies has 17 years of experience in aesthetic medicine, regenerative medicine and hair transplant surgery using the FUE technique. She also holds the position of lead educator for PRF Edu in the United States and contributes as a lecturer for The American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and the Foundation for Professional Development.

DR LATI MALOKA

Dr Lati Maloka specialises in a wide range of advanced cosmetic procedures, encompassing injectables, laser treatments, hair restoration, weight management, and skin rejuvenation therapies. With a passion for artistry, precision and a commitment to ongoing research and education, she is devoted to enhancing her patients’ natural beauty and confidence.

DR MELANIE LAMBRECHTS

With 16 years of experience in the Aesthetic and Wellness industry, Dr Melanie Lambrecht specialises in a comprehensive array of rejuvenation and facial beautification treatments. She also serves as a lecturer for Allergan, as part of the Allergan Medical Institute, and for Genop Healthcare, focusing on micro-needling and skin imaging devices.

DR THYS HEYNS

With years of experience in aesthetics and anti-ageing medicine, Dr Thys Heyn pioneered the Reshape program in 2003, focusing on weight loss treatment, and stands out in his use of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), leading training sessions and workshops for various companies. He remains updated on industry trends through local and international events, prioritising holistic patient care and promoting a natural appearance.
